How exciting to find out that you are expecting! Once the excitement has settled in, you might start thinking about the logistics of welcoming a little one, including this fundamental question: where will we put the baby?

If you can afford to buy a home, chances are it is still quite small, often just one bedroom. A brilliant solution is to convert a walk-in closet or a sunroom into a space for your baby by building your own made-to-measure nursery. 

First, you will need to make sure you can install a baby-changing table, which is the key element of your nursery, and a baby bed if possible. In order to save space, don’t hesitate to build a foldable baby-changing table, that you can install anywhere, even on a cupboard.

Once you have measured your space, you will need to remove everything from the closet or sun room that will not go in your new nursery.
