SANIFLO’S SANICUBIC RANGE

The perfect fully integrated pumping solution

From a small granny flat to a large public building, the Sanicubic range has you covered.

Saniflo A Group SFA Company

The leaders in pumping technology

Founded in France in 1958, Saniflo began as a designer of water treatment plant equipment. Shortly after, the company developed the first ever macerating pump, a product that revolutionised the bathroom fixture market and shaped the company’s history.

The macerating pump was an immediate success.

It enabled home and business owners to easily install bathroom fixtures, laundry rooms and kitchens anywhere and without the cost and hassle of moving sewer pipes. It achieved this by finely chopping the incoming waste water so that it could be pumped through tiny pipework. The benefit of using small pipework was that it could be concealed behind walls, under the floor or in-ceiling spaces and eventually reconnected to the existing sewer line.

After establishing itself as a market leader in Europe and the USA, the group entered Australia and New Zealand in 1982 and has not looked back. With growing popularity in tiny homes, basement living spaces and granny flat extensions, there is increasing demand for alternative plumbing solutions.

Despite a global presence, Saniflo is dedicated to the same principles that underpinned its success: innovation and quality. Today, our products are still made in France using modern production technology and a team of experts who commit themselves every day to spreading our one common goal: offering the millions of Saniflo customers worldwide high-quality service yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Basement Conversion

Carla and John Giannakopoulos wanted to create a fully-equipped guest retreat in their beautiful South Coogee home.
But, space was limited as their home has an open floor plan, meaning they had to look elsewhere for an appropriate space.

The space available was behind the garage, underground and under the sewerage mains. This presented structural and plumbing challenges. Being under the sewerage and stormwater mains ruled out traditional plumbing. Plumbing was basically impossible without Saniflo.

To achieve the desired guest space, a Sanicubic 2 Pro was installed inside the closet, under the flooring. This pump enabled the installation of a toilet, shower, dishwasher, washing machine and two sinks

Small House. Grand Design

When Joe Stuart and his girlfriend Lena, decided to purchase a tiny plot in London – the site of a former coffin workshop in 2012, the key problem to building their new dream home was the size of their land. Complying to the UK’s home building regulations, literally by centimetres, the plot measured at just 38m2 and required an innovative solution to maximise the space.

They decided to dig down to form a basement and established six half floors, which achieved a spacious and contemporary home, featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first is gravity fed, whilst the second – originally designed as a laundry – is situated below street level and main drain line, which ruled out traditional plumbing. This is where Saniflo came in.

“The Saniflo pump actually enabled us to install a second bathroom which adds value to our home. The unit is plumbed into the basement and sits behind cupboard doors to insulate the noise. Because of the multiple connection points, we will undoubtedly be plumbing more appliances into the unit in future. This pump is an excellent solution for properties that have underground rooms and it was really cost-effective too.”
- Joe Stuart, East London

The finished house is beautifully clad in cedar and bricks, and thick walls with high spec insulation, a triple-glazed skylight combined with ultra-low energy heating and hot water system making the house extremely environmentally friendly and efficient. The house also features an industrial design wet room complete with a shower, basin and WC, all thanks to the Sanicubic 2 Pro.
